Sleigh baby, sleigh!
There are few adventures more enchanting than a mid-winter open horse sleigh ride through the scenic and wooded trails of the Swan River Valley. Down at the very end of Tiger Road in Breckenridge, Colorado, you will find Goodtimes Adventures, where Golden Horseshoe operates. Starting from check in, you’ll be whisked back to a better time, an experience set in the old west traditions of small mining towns hidden deep in the Colorado Rockies. Your trip starts out of a hand hewn canvas wall tent, not unlike those of the miners of days gone by. Inside, you will find yourself surrounded by wood burning stoves and greeted with a hot chocolate bar. This, however, is no ordinary drinking station. All manner of toppings from sprinkles to spirits can be found to enjoy while you await your personal sleigh. Upon meeting your horse and driver, you’ll be welcomed onto your sleigh where warm blankets await. Riding through the White River National Forest provides gorgeous views of the surrounding valley and mountain passes no matter the weather. If, by chance, you are graced with falling snow, the entire scene quickly turns into a snow globe-like affair. Sleigh bells will fall silent as you pause at one of the forests clearings, allowing you a bit of time to stretch your legs and take advantage of the frozen river and overlooking mountain views. Upon your return to camp, you may find the desire to grab a quick cocoa refill and enjoy time warming yourself by the outdoor campfire.

Should you choose to hire And Two Were Tamed Photography, we will capture the specialist of moments throughout your ride that encapsulate your entire experience. After your day has gone, you can share and relive your experience through the photos provided in an online gallery.

Pricing
With each package listed below, we will capture moments enjoying the views, intentional interactions, and time spent with the horses. Depending on what we are booked for, we personalize each session to your needs and desires. Reflecting this, we offer a few different pricing tiers for sleigh ride sessions that vary in length of time.
Sleigh Mini Session $500
30 minutes coverage of sleigh ride from start to return.
Sleigh plus Fireside Session $750
Up to 1 hour coverage of sleigh ride with a short portrait session following. This package gives us time to take in the moments, enjoy the views, and take a handful of portraits after your return to base.
Sleigh plus Portrait Session $1,000
Up to 1.5 hours coverage of sleigh ride with a full portrait session following. This package gives us ample time to take in the sleigh ride experience as well as a much more personalized time afterwards for photos. You can choose to bring props, a change of clothes, ect.
Elopement/Wedding coverage $2,400+
Starting at $2,400, our smallest package includes 3 hours of photography to capture your sleigh ride, ceremony, and more. Inquire HERE for custom elopement/wedding day coverage.
